Your business may be growing. But are you growing with it?
You can build a successful company and still feel uncertain about your life. Sometimes the obstacle in front of your business is not another strategy—it is what is happening inside the person leading it.

When success still feels heavy
You may have accomplished things you once prayed or worked hard for. But instead of feeling settled, you feel restless. Maybe you are asking yourself…
- Why do I still feel behind?
- Why is it so difficult to slow down?
- Why do I feel guilty when I am not working?
- Who am I outside of my business?
- Why do I keep repeating habits I know are not helping me?
- What does success actually mean to me now?
- How do I grow without neglecting my health, relationships, or values?
These are not signs that you are failing. They are signs that your life may need to evolve alongside your business.
Learn more about redefining what success truly means—beyond revenue, titles, and external achievements.
Your business is not your identity
Your company may be an important part of your life. But it is not the full measure of who you are. When your identity becomes tied too closely to performance, every setback feels personal.
A difficult month becomes proof that you are failing. A lost client affects your sense of worth. Rest feels irresponsible. Success never feels secure because you are always trying to prove yourself again.
A healthier relationship with your business begins when you can separate who you are from what your business produces. You are more than your revenue. More than your productivity. More than your accomplishments.
Discover more about this in my article, "Your Business Is Not Your Identity," which explores how to build a meaningful business without losing yourself in the process.
What is life coaching for business owners?
It is a collaborative process that helps entrepreneurs examine the personal beliefs, habits, priorities, and patterns affecting their lives and leadership. It creates space to step back from the daily pressure of business and ask deeper questions:
- What do I actually want?
- What is no longer working?
- What am I avoiding?
- What kind of leader, spouse, parent, or person do I want to become?
- Does the way I am living align with what matters most to me?
- What needs to change for my success to feel sustainable?
The goal is not to create a perfect life. It is to help you live with greater clarity, intention, emotional awareness, and alignment.
Signs you may need support beyond business strategy
You may benefit from life coaching if…
- You have achieved success but still feel unfulfilled.
- You struggle to separate your identity from your business.
- You feel guilty whenever you rest.
- You keep postponing decisions you know you need to make.
- Your relationships are receiving whatever energy is left after work.
- You feel disconnected from your purpose.
- You constantly second-guess yourself.
- You want healthier habits but struggle to maintain them.
- You are entering a new season of life and feel unsure about what comes next.
- You want your business and personal life to reflect your values more clearly.
You do not need to wait until everything is falling apart before asking for support.

Imagine feeling clearer about the life you are building
- Making decisions without constantly questioning yourself.
- Resting without guilt.
- Being fully present with the people you love.
- Knowing what deserves your attention—and what no longer does.
- Pursuing meaningful goals without tying your worth to the outcome.
- Building a business that reflects your values instead of pulling you away from them.
This is not about becoming less ambitious. It is about becoming more intentional.
What we may work on together
Every person and season is different. Our conversations are shaped around the challenges you are facing now.
Identity and Self-Worth
Separate your value as a person from your productivity, title, revenue, or business performance.
Confidence and Decision-Making
Understand what is driving self-doubt, build greater trust in yourself, and make decisions with more clarity.
Purpose and Direction
Clarify what matters to you, what you are working toward, and whether your current life reflects those priorities.
Boundaries
Create healthier limits around work, availability, relationships, and the responsibilities you carry.
Habits and Personal Growth
Identify patterns that are keeping you stuck and build practical habits that support the life you want.
Relationships and Presence
Examine how business pressure affects your marriage, family, friendships, and ability to be emotionally present.
Life Transitions
Navigate seasons such as business growth, career changes, motherhood, selling a company, or redefining what comes next.
Faith and Values
For clients who desire it, explore how faith, stewardship, purpose, integrity, and biblical values shape how you live and lead.
This is about the whole person behind the business
A business problem is not always only a business problem.
Difficulty delegating may be connected to control. Overworking may be connected to identity or fear. Avoiding a difficult conversation may be connected to confidence. Burnout may be connected to boundaries, beliefs, or the pressure to prove yourself.
That is why personal growth cannot be completely separated from entrepreneurship. The way you live affects the way you lead. And the way you lead affects everything you are building.
My approach
I do not believe in telling you what your life should look like. My role is to help you slow down, ask better questions, identify what is keeping you stuck, and take practical steps toward the life you want to build.
You will not receive empty motivation or generic advice. You can expect thoughtful questions, direct feedback, accountability, and room to examine what is happening beneath the surface.

Meet Kristy
I am Kristy Yoder—an entrepreneur, founder, immigrant from the Philippines, wife, future mama, and Certified Life Coach through the Certified Life Coach Institute.
Over the past years, I have built businesses, led a self-sustaining company with more than 70 team members, and helped more than 400 businesses through remote staffing, leadership, delegation, and business systems. I am also the host of The Lazy Entrepreneur Podcast and hold a Certificate of Completion in Foundations of Mental Health Coaching through the American Association of Christian Counselors.
My professional experience taught me how to build and lead businesses. My personal journey taught me that achievement alone does not create peace, purpose, or a meaningful life. That is why I care about supporting the whole entrepreneur—not only the company they are building.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is life coaching for business owners?
Life coaching for business owners helps entrepreneurs examine the personal beliefs, habits, relationships, identity, priorities, and patterns influencing how they live and lead. It focuses on personal growth, clarity, accountability, and practical action.
How is life coaching different from business coaching?
Business coaching primarily focuses on strategy, leadership, systems, operations, and business growth. Life coaching focuses more deeply on the person behind the business, including identity, confidence, habits, relationships, boundaries, purpose, and personal priorities. In practice, these areas often overlap.
Is life coaching the same as therapy?
No. Life coaching is not therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or mental health treatment. Coaching focuses on goals, personal growth, self-awareness, accountability, and forward movement. People experiencing mental health conditions that require clinical treatment should work with an appropriately licensed mental health professional.
Do you offer life coaching online?
Yes. Sessions are available virtually, allowing business owners and entrepreneurs to work with me from anywhere.
Can we discuss both personal and business challenges?
Yes. Personal and business challenges are often connected. Sessions may include both areas when they affect your goals, leadership, well-being, or decision-making.
How do I know whether I need life coaching or therapy?
Coaching may be appropriate when you are seeking clarity, accountability, personal growth, stronger habits, or help moving toward specific goals. Therapy is more appropriate when you need diagnosis or treatment for trauma, severe anxiety, depression, addiction, or another mental health condition. When clinical care is appropriate, I encourage you to seek support from a licensed professional.
How do I get started?
Begin by scheduling a discovery call. We will discuss what you are experiencing, what you want to change, and whether working together is the right fit.
